Putting Law Enforcement to Work for You!
We are a group of individual law enforcement officers and security personnel recognized by the state of Illinois. We come together to provide you with the utmost safety and security services. Consultation and coordination of these officers is provided. We match personnel with specific skills and appearance to meet your specific requirements.
Our experience includes a range of services, from personal protection, high profile security details, investigations, live events, concerts, MMA/UFC events, etc. Personnel needed for your specific requirements can be identified through our consultation.
All officers who work, are employees of you and are paid through your payroll and covered by your insurance, just as any temporary employee. This gives you full control of the officers who work for you. We will assist you through coordination of work schedules, assignments, and timekeeping for payroll reports.
If needed, a full comprehensive coverage plan can be provided through two Illinois based security firms we are associated with: S.I.R. Investigations. We can provide you with personnel for your needs anywhere throughout the state of Illinois.

Our pyrotechnics service provides complete outdoor proximity displays. We work with a major pyrotechnic supply companies assuring the highest of quality. J&M Displays located in Yarmouth, Iowa provide us with superior product for your displays. Our services range from full turn-key displays or individual services such as sales, transportation, shoot teams, and support. Over 27 years of State Government and Law Enforcement experience allowed me to grow naturally into the security and investigative industry. Serving over the years as Training Facilitator, Patrolman, Deputy, Lieutenant, and Chief for various department and government agencies provided me with the appropriate training, experience, and certification needed to perform all aspects of security and investigative job duties.
With the culmination of all the above, on came side jobs that erupted naturally for 20 years of providing private security for special events and safety needs that off-duty law enforcement personnel could provide. Pooling my resources together has helped build the foundation of The Marxman Group to what it is today.
During my time spent serving on the board with the Effingham Area Police Association, another side job started resulting in over 25 years of providing and producing firework displays for the local community. Having credentials to purchase and transport pyrotechnics attracted clients of bigger events with larger needs. As demands grew, complying with Federal and State regulations; we are now employed with two major firework companies in the Midwest who provide product for all size displays.
Now retired from the State of Illinois and leaving law enforcement, things are busier than ever. Currently serving as Security Supervisor for S.I.R. Investigations and Head of Security for Effingham Performance Center with a full security staff on hand, we are providing investigations, security, supervision, and consulting for all your security and safety needs.
We can provide all licensing and certification needed to perform the duties and responsibilities required for all pyrotechnic events and security needs.
